What I Do

Because pain is never driven by a single source or factor, unraveling the issue requires a whole body approach. Through my own journey with chronic pain I began to recognize the correlation between the emotional, spiritual and physical body.

But I didn’t do any of it alone.

Each session will be completely unique to address your specific concerns, and I welcome you to bring all facets of your experiences to my table.

The premise of my work involves engaging the nervous system through breath, so that we can both sink deeper into the functionality of therapeutic massage.

With this type of embodiment, you will develop a new awareness of your physical and emotional signals. And with that ability   you become the facilitator of your own healing.

Outside of the work on the table, I am deeply passionate about discussing and guiding people toward knowledge about their bodies. A practice also described as Body Literacy. The greatest outcome I can imagine as a practitioner is to illuminate ones own ability and agency in self care and healing. That is to say, my life changed when I took ownership over my own healing and what made me unwell in the first place. And part of that process was finding the right guides to help me do so. I have an abundant network of associates whom I can refer you to as we begin to explore where your mind and body is ready to heal next. I offer sessions specifically for consultations to go through mobility exercises, stretches, and how to properly use tools for self care.

In addition, I love working with pain patterns. From Athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts to Pre and Post Op injuries. I have worked extensively with Cyclists, and Runners, and will happily take notes or directives from Doctors, Chiropractors and Physical Therapists to help expedite your recovery.

Wherever you and your body are at, I am ready to meet you there.

Our bodies will go to great lengths to keep us from feeling pain. In fact, pain is actually the last indicator of dysfunction. And when it is suddenly at front and center of our attention, it can be easy to go to a place of being self critical for what you may have neglected or not understood about your body. What I can tell you from my own experience is that if beating yourself up worked, it would have worked already.

  • Please know that change is possible.
  • That improvement is inevitable.
  • And above all, please believe in your ability to adapt and Evolve.
